Lupus Victoria donates to Monash Lupus Research

On 29 May 2017, the Directors of Lupus Victoria (Vu Nguyen, Michael Kim, Rob Jolly, Kaye Thomas and Lisa Phung (since resigned)) presented a cheque for $26,000 to Professor Eric Morand and Dr Alberta Hoi at the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, directly supporting the Kim Jolly Lupus Research Fund.

The $26,000 donation will fund a Monash University PhD scholarship (to be named the Kim Jolly Lupus Research Fund Scholarship) enabling vital research into Lupus. PhD student and Monash Health Rheumatology Fellow, Dr Champa Nataraja, is the first recipient of the scholarship.
